In which

evil resurges in relevance

Inkbiter,

Your efforts in revitalizing the Southern Illustrated News has seen great success, o Scrivener of Stars. Everywhere the League has been scattered, from Georgia to Arizona, I hear word that your papers have arrived, or that travelers laud it in conversations. Keep the faith, but hide it dearly. We have already had to abandon many fruitful endeavors due to the Marshals’ blind groping towards us.

My compliments in particular to your close eye on the Henshaw N----r. Though my blood boils when I see what he did to that poor girl, we must thank him. His every success in his depravity drags our nemeses down with him. If the Marshals cannot protect the people of this country from one n----r and his two sl-----ns, then people will need new protectors. There is the opportunity to regain the honor we lost with the war, right before the election in November. With enough pressure from the public, the Yankees will crack like old hickory. They will give us back what was stolen from us in exchange for the trust of the people.

I have assented to freeing Thorn and Steelheel; better to try them again than risk endangering our other members. I will have some hobgoblins beneath notice handle it; do not endanger yourself. Steelheel will lead them in the hunt for this Freestone n----r; let him avenge his dolls. Thorn will be working with you to sing his praises to the public and harry the cripple in his Jew chimney. Do not cross her. No matter what nonsense she says about women voting, correct her only if absolutely necessary, and mind any attempt to court her. With the League stretched so thin, she is irreplaceable, and her skill is such that appeasing her is the easier option. The only thing you must not do is incriminate yourself.

The Negro slave served us well some eighty years, and now this one will serve us as well, whether he wishes to or not.

King Ivory,

Grand Wyrm Superior of the Lily-White League, as ordained by God and marked with the rites of Merlin,
